MONTANA AWARE

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW WHILE VISITING

The health and safety of our citizens and visitors is our top priority. While visiting our spectacular state please be prepared for the following protocols and safety precautions.

  • Currently there is not a statewide mask mandate and our restaurants and bars are open to 100 percent. However, many businesses request and some require, that you wear a mask while visiting their business. We ask that you do your part to remain healthy and keep our businesses and their staff healthy too.

  • Know before you go: Know the local public health guidelines before arriving at your destination. Find Montana’s most up-to-date health guidelines HERE.

  • Stay home if you’re sick.

  • Understand some services and destinations may be limited. As of 3.31.2021 Glacier National Park is instituting an online reservation system (ticketed entry) for the Going-to-the-Sun Road corridor between the park’s West and St. Mary Entrances from May 28 to September 6, 2021. Full details here.

  • There is currently no travel-related quarantine.

Visitors to Montana should be aware travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic may vary on the seven Indian reservations in Montana. As tribal governments continue to assess public health risks, travel restrictions may change at any time depending on current conditions.
